I'm looking for suggestions on the best budget GPUs, either used or new, for video editing that come in under $150. I'm currently using an old Radeon RX 580 and I'm hoping to upgrade. My setup includes a 13600KF CPU and a Z690 motherboard.

If you can stretch your budget a bit to around $200, I'd recommend looking for a used RTX 3060 with 12GB. It's pretty much the best option for video editing at this price point. Anything cheaper will likely underperform for your needs.

What do you think about the RTX 2080 for video editing compared to the 3060? Is it worth considering?

I’ll keep that in mind! I’ve been eyeing the 5500 XT, RX 5600 XT, and RX 6600 XT, which usually run between $130 to $180. Paying a bit extra for better performance does sound smart.
