I'm looking for recommendations for comfortable office chairs that are great for long coding sessions, but I'm hoping to find options that are more affordable than the usual Herman Miller suggestions. I don't want to deal with second-hand chairs again; the last one I bought had a wine stain and only a six-month warranty. Any chairs that have really worked well for you in your home office? I appreciate any recommendations!

If you're okay with a bit of spending, the Steelcase Leap V2 is amazing! I bought a refurbished one and it's just like new. Totally changed my work experience.
I had a great experience with my Leap V2 as well! Perfect for long hours.
I suggest checking out a Tempur-Pedic chair. I bought one years ago and it was the best decision. Just starting to need another cushion but still going strong!
I got one during COVID, and while it was great at first, mine's chipping now. Wouldn’t recommend it anymore.
If you're tight on cash, I've seen used Herman Miller Aerons for around $400. They last forever and their parts are easy to find, so it’s a solid investment!
Do they disassemble easily? I wonder if it will fit in my car.
I've been using the Autonomous ErgoChair Pro for over five years now. It's super comfy for daily use, and I haven't had any back pain since I got it. Definitely worth it!
Did you choose the mesh or foam seat? Just wondering which one was better.
I switched from a gaming chair to the ErgoChair Pro too, and my back thanked me! Solid adjustments and sturdy feel.
I was using an old folding chair from a garage sale and thought it was okay until I felt my back crack when I stood up! Definitely a sign I need to upgrade.
LOL that sounds painful! Time to hit the shops for a proper chair.
Right? Upgrade mode activated!
Refurbished sounds smart! Did you have to do any maintenance on it over the years?
