I'm looking to upgrade a PC with a Ryzen 3 3200G on a B450M motherboard for a casual gamer. I plan to donate my old DDR4 RAM (32GB, 4x8GB, 3600CL16), an old 1080Ti, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. I'm mainly focused on finding a good CPU upgrade that will let them play casual games on a 1440p display without needing the absolute best settings or high frame rates.
I'm thinking about a 5700X or 5800X, possibly paired with a Peerless Assassin cooler. My goal is to ensure that they're able to play titles like Witcher 3, Mass Effect, and Path of Exile without any major hiccups. I'm also curious about a potential future GPU upgrade, ideally something that offers 16GB of VRAM without breaking the bank.
Since there's no strict budget for the right parts, I'm interested in any recommendations that complement each other well. I've already got the PSU, case, and peripherals sorted out. Also, as I'm not located in the US, specific component suggestions would be more helpful than deals or bundles.

Definitely check out the 5800X or even better if you can find a 5800X3D! For the GPU, you can't go wrong with a 9060 XT 16GB or a 9070 XT, which should give you solid performance for casual gaming.
I'd recommend using 2x8GB of RAM instead of 4x8GB for better stability at high speeds. But your setup should be smooth, especially with any of the suggested CPUs!
If you're looking for a boost in performance, the 5600X would be a fantastic choice! It's almost on par with the 8-core CPUs in most games and usually comes at a better price point.

Isn't that mainly an AM5 thing? My 4 sticks have been fine with AM4, but I might be mistaken.
