What’s a Good Low Profile GPU for $40-$100?

I'm building a budget PC and have already spent about $150 on components, including an i7-8700, 16GB of RAM, and a 500GB NVMe SSD. My total budget is around $300. I'm looking for a low-profile GPU that can handle game emulation and some multiplayer gaming, mainly at 720p resolution. If possible, I'm okay with buying used components. Any recommendations?

How low-profile does your GPU need to be? Can it be dual-slot, or does it need to be single-slot? Also, do you have a power supply that can provide extra power, or are you limited to just what the PCIe slot can supply?

It's going into a Lenovo m920s, so it might be a bit tight!

If your motherboard and power supply aren’t proprietary, consider switching cases for better GPU compatibility. You could spend around $130 on an RTX 2060 and then find an ATX case for about $20; sometimes they’re even given away for free!

You might want to look for a used GTX 1660 Super, but finding one under $100 could be a bit of a long shot. A more realistic option in that price range would be the RX 580. Just keep an eye on deals!

Honestly, for your budget, you might want to consider saving a bit more to build a better rig. $300 for everything is quite low, and it might limit your options. But if you’re set on this, it's doable!

I'm actually trying to build two PCs, one for myself and one for my little cousin who's tired of his Xbox One. Plus, I only have a PS3, so I want something better for both of us.

I mean, I've seen people build decent PCs for about $100, and they play a lot of esports and even some AAA games, so it might actually work out!
