What’s a Good PC Build for Around £700?

I'm currently using a Mac but I'm looking to switch to a PC for more graphic-intensive work and gaming. I want something that can handle most games on medium settings and will also be capable of running Adobe After Effects efficiently. Is it feasible to build a decent PC for around £700?

Honestly, your budget might be a bit tight for a solid gaming and creative machine. Prices for parts, especially GPUs, have been going up and can vary a lot depending on where you are. If you're in the UK, it might help to look at local shops or check out the availability of components. You could also consider looking into used parts to maximize your budget.

It really depends on your location and the parts you can get. Since you mentioned both £ and $, I’m guessing you're in the UK. I recommend checking out r/buildapcforme, where people are more familiar with UK prices and can suggest good parts available locally. That could help you find a build that fits your needs.
