Has anyone got updates about the ongoing IT issues with Carnival Cruise Line? I just boarded the Panorama in Long Beach after a long wait, but we're stuck and can't set sail because of these "IT issues." It sounds like this problem might be affecting the entire fleet.

I just got off a cruise yesterday and was really curious about what’s happening. From what I've heard, everything Carnival is down—their check-in systems, onboard services, website, and even the ship's WiFi are in chaos. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
I’m currently on the Carnival Splendor, which just left New Zealand. We're sailing, but everything’s pretty chaotic onboard. The WiFi is down, and staff are having to manage everything manually. Not the smoothest sailing for sure!
It seems like a total mess! There are rumors floating around that it might be a ransomware attack, but who knows for sure. It's definitely not ideal for passengers right now.
I think the IT issues stem from some planned maintenance they were doing. They mentioned on their site that this has led to delays in both debarkation and embarkation but reassured that navigation and safety systems are still functioning. Just hang in there, and check your emails for updates!
