What’s More Important for Golf Simulation: High Speed RAM or More Capacity?

I've just got my hands on a Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16IRX9, which is packing a powerful Intel Core i9 processor and a solid RTX 4060 graphics card. I'm planning to use it for a golf simulator (SKYTRAK+) and a swing video analysis software (SWINGCATALYST). With two high-speed cameras capturing at 120fps/1080p or 240fps/720p, I want to ensure the laptop can handle the livecasting and recording, including overlays for club path and body joint angles.

I'm curious about whether I should prioritize higher MHz RAM or go for more capacity for my use case. I can only max out at 32GB of 5600MHz, but I could also opt for 64GB or 96GB of 5200MHz. Since speed might impact the FPS and motion capture rendering, I'd really appreciate any insights on which option I should choose!

Why not run some tests on your current setup first? Check your CPU, GPU, and RAM usage while you're at it. You might get a clearer picture before making a decision on upgrades.

I wish I could, but I don’t have enough data points yet. I'm looking for insights to understand what specs really matter since I currently have 16GB and 32GB is recommended.
