I'm looking to upgrade my bulky PC with a larger storage solution since I have a ton of games. What would be the best 4TB SSD to get for gaming? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

For 4TB SSDs, anything Gen 4 will serve you well. Gen 5 SSDs are fast but unnecessary for gaming, and they have heat issues and cache limitations that can hinder performance. Stick with a good Gen 4 model and save some cash!
What’s your budget for the SSD? That can help narrow down options pretty quickly!
If you're looking for the best value, just grab the cheapest NVMe SSD you can find. As far as performance goes, almost any NVMe will be sufficient for gaming. You can use guides or flowcharts available online to find the best model for your needs.
I'd suggest checking out the Western Digital SN7100. It's a solid choice for gaming and has good performance. If you're looking for alternatives, the SN850X is also worth considering, but make sure to compare prices.
True, but I'd recommend going for a Gen 4 drive instead of a Gen 5. Gen 5 drives can be overkill for gaming and tend to get really hot with cache issues.

I’d prefer to spend no more than £300.
