Hey everyone! I have a Ryzen 5 3350G running at 3.6GHz along with a GTX 1660 Super. I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, but I want to keep costs low since the 1660 Super is getting a bit old, and I'm on a tight budget. Can anyone recommend an optimal CPU for gaming performance that would pair well with my graphics card? Thanks a lot!

If you're looking for a solid option, I’d recommend getting a used Ryzen 5 5600, 5600X, or even the 5600F. Definitely skip the 5600G though. Those should pair nicely with your GTX 1660 Super without breaking the bank.
An Intel Core i3 could also be an option to consider if you're looking for something budget-friendly.
The Ryzen 5500 could be a good choice. It’s more affordable and anything better might just be overkill, depending on the games you play.
I’d say go for the 5600X if you can find a good deal, but check your local market. You might find the Ryzen 5600 or 5700X at a decent price too. Just be wary of the 5500; it lacks L3 cache. If it’s significantly cheaper, it might still be worth a look.
What motherboard are you using? The Ryzen 5 5600 would work really well with your GTX 1660 Super. I'd strongly suggest getting the 5600 over the 5500 for better performance.
