What’s the Best Budget CPU Upgrade for My Old Build with a GTX 1080?

Hey everyone! I've been gaming on my i5-4690k and GTX 1080 for a while, but I'm noticing a heavy CPU bottleneck. Even after overclocking my CPU to 4.9GHz, it's constantly hitting 100% usage while my GPU runs at about 60-80%. When I'm playing demanding games like Cyberpunk, the GPU reaches around 95%. I'd like to get a new CPU that could help, but I'm on a tight budget of $100. I know I'll also need a new motherboard and RAM, but I'm really just looking for the cheapest possible upgrade. Any suggestions? I'm particularly having issues with CPU performance during big MMO events in FF14, and I'd love to find a way to improve my overall experience without breaking the bank!

Honestly, for your budget, you're better off looking for used parts rather than a direct upgrade. It's tough to find anything new for $100 that will really enhance your experience. You might want to consider replacing your whole setup if you can, or check out second-hand listings to see if someone is upgrading and selling their old components cheap. It could be a way to drop a modern CPU into your existing system without spending a ton.
