I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card from a GTX 1660 Ti, but I'm on a tight budget of around £250 (about $300). My primary use will be 1080p gaming, and I've been considering options like the RTX 3070 or the RX 6700 XT. I'm based in the UK and would appreciate any advice or recommendations!

The RTX 3070 is a solid choice, offering performance similar to the 5060. If you can find a 5060 for around £270, that’s also a great pick. I’d steer clear of the 6700 XT though.
I’ve used a second-hand RTX 4070 with my i5-12400F for a year without issues, even at 1440p. Just something to consider if you’re okay with used options!
Look into the 5070 or the 9070, especially the 9070 XT if the price is right. Although, considering your budget, the 5060 or 9060 would probably be your best bet.
I scored my RTX 3070 Ti for about £270 a few months ago, and I’ve been thrilled with its performance at 1440p. It handles 1080p gaming perfectly, so it should serve you well!
