I'm currently using an i5 12400f with an RX 6600 and I just bought a 1440p monitor for about $300. I'm hoping to play most of the latest and demanding games at 1440p, aiming for at least 50 fps on average. Ideally, I'd need a graphics card with at least 10GB of RAM since 8GB isn't cutting it for recent games at 1440p.

Here are some options I'm considering:

- Arc B580 for $380
- RX 9060 XT for $610
- RTX 5060 Ti for $680
- RX 9070 for $795

I'm unsure if I should go with the cheapest option or save for something better without breaking the bank. Any advice? Are there any other GPUs I should consider around this price range? Thanks!

I think you should try the RX 9060 XT or the RTX 5060 Ti; both provide solid performance at 1440p and should hit around your 50fps goal. The 5060 Ti is particularly better with ray tracing if that's a consideration for you. Just make sure to get the models with 16GB of RAM to ensure longevity for newer titles!

If you're looking at 1440p performance, the RX 9070 is the best option here. It will give you great performance in demanding games, and you'll likely get lasting value from it. The Arc B580, while cheaper, probably won't perform that well without heavy upscaling, especially as games become more demanding. The RX 9060 XT and RTX 5060 Ti are also decent choices if you're looking to save some cash, just be wary about how long they'll hold up. I'd personally save up for something stronger to avoid regrets later on.

Honestly, I've run the RX 6600 at 1440p, and while it can handle it, expect to tweak settings. For something more powerful, the RX 9060 XT is good, but just be aware, you might need to drop settings on more demanding titles. It's also crucial to have a decent amount of VRAM these days, so don’t skimp on that! Get a setup that will last you a few years.
