I'm putting together a PC build around a budget of £1500 and was originally thinking about using the 9800X3D CPU and a 4070S graphics card. However, with the new 5000 series out there, I'm also considering the 5070Ti. I'm curious if anyone has suggestions on the best components for this price range?

How about pairing a 7800X3D with an RTX 5070Ti? Check out this part list I made: [PCPartPicker Link](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/WWCCv4). It's a nice combo that should work well for your setup!

Check out this part list I made! For a solid build, I recommend:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz
- **CPU Cooler:** ARCTIC Freezer 36
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX
- **Memory:** Patriot Viper Venom 32GB DDR5-7200
- **Storage:** Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 2TB SSD
- **Video Card:** Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT
- **Case:** Lian Li LANCOOL 216
- **Power Supply:** Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 750W

This all comes to about £1395, leaving you with some room to upgrade to the 5070Ti if you want!

Damn, you’re good, thanks!

But are you sure about using 7200 MT/s CL34 RAM? I thought that might give you a low FCLK if you're planning to ratio it.

If you want to stick to budget, lower the CPU a bit and grab the 5070Ti instead. If your budget allows, go ahead with the 9800X3D and the 5070Ti; that combo is really good!

You could also go with a 7600 or 9600X and a 5070Ti, which would easily fit your budget. Just keep in mind how it compares to the 4070S in terms of future-proofing since it seems like you're planning long-term.

But do you really think the 5070Ti has a big edge over the 4070S? Longevity is key for me, especially with how poorly optimized some of these new UE5 games are.
