I'm in the market for a powerful CPU and GPU combo to achieve high refresh rates for 1440p gaming. Right now, I'm considering the 9070 XT, but I'm not entirely sure if that's the right choice. What does everyone think?

I'd recommend going with a 9700X paired with a 9070XT or a 5070 Ti for an ideal setup. It's efficient and perfect for high refresh rates. If you're looking for a bit more performance and don't mind higher specs, the 5080 could be a decent option too, especially if you care about ray tracing.
But wouldn't the 5080 be more geared towards 4K gaming? I'm leaning towards the 5070 Ti since it's such a great deal right now for dominating 1440p once I can finalize my budget.
