I'm looking to upgrade my current setup since it's not good enough to fully utilize my RTX 5070. I would appreciate any advice on the best CPU, motherboard, and RAM configuration that won't bottleneck my graphics card. I'm currently using an i5 11400F with 32GB of DDR4 RAM. I'm open to buying any hardware that fits, just no overkill!

First off, could you share your full current parts list and your budget for the upgrade? It'll help narrow down the options.
If you're looking for a solid balance without breaking the bank, consider the Ryzen 5 9600X alongside 32GB of DDR5 RAM. That combo should work well with the 5070!
Thanks for the suggestion! Just updated my post.
You might want to check out the i5-14600K or the i7 from the 13th or 14th generation, paired with a Z or X version motherboard and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. Just one thing: if you stick with your current DDR4, make sure your motherboard supports that type since they usually only support one kind of RAM.
Is it a big issue if I decide to keep my DDR4? Do motherboards only support one type of RAM?
Updated my post with the current setup!
