I'm looking to upgrade my PC, specifically the CPU, and I've realized I'll likely need to update my motherboard and other components as well. With an RTX 3060 and an i3 10100F currently in my setup, I often find myself CPU-bound in games. I was considering a 7800X3D with a new motherboard, RAM, and a CPU cooler. Do you think this is the best option I can get for around £500? I'm open to spending a bit more if necessary and I'm willing to shop used, as long as the risk is manageable.

I don’t think you’ll be able to squeeze a 7800X3D into that budget. Can you tell me which country you’re in?

I'm from the UK. I was just managing to fit it in by picking the cheapest parts for everything else.
