I'm currently running an Intel i5-12400F with an Asus B660m WiFi motherboard. I'm planning to upgrade my GPU from a 3070 to a 9070xt and would like to know which CPU I should consider upgrading to, if necessary. Is it worth it?

I had the same setup and ended up switching to AMD because my B660m wasn’t cutting it. If your motherboard is decent, you might go for a 13th gen CPU, but sticking to AM5 could be a bigger improvement if you're looking for longevity.
If you're looking for a solid upgrade, the i7-12700KF or the i7-13700KF would be great choices to pair with your new GPU.
Before you decide on a CPU, think about the resolution you’ll be playing at. If you're gaming at higher resolutions like 1440p, you might not need to upgrade right away.
Your B660 motherboard supports 12th, 13th, and 14th gen Intel CPUs. I recommend starting with the GPU upgrade first, especially since you're playing at 1440p or 4K, then decide if the CPU needs an upgrade later.
I’d be cautious about upgrading the CPU while keeping that motherboard. The power delivery isn’t the best and it's DDR4, so it might not be worth the investment for you.
I've been thinking about that too! I'm actually playing at 1440p.
