I'm looking to upgrade my current CPU to something better for gaming and multitasking, but I'm not an expert in computer parts. I need something powerful that can keep up with both my gaming and work needs. Right now, I'm using an Intel Core i3-10105F 3.7 GHz CPU along with a motherboard that came with my case, which is a STG Aubronh 510-VD. I've also got 16 GB of single-channel DDR4 RAM. What are my best options for a CPU upgrade within my $75 budget?

Upgrading can be tricky, especially if you have a less common motherboard. Since yours is proprietary, it might limit options. Generally, at this price, you're better off looking for a CPU with integrated graphics. Dedicated graphics cards tend to start around the $200-$250 range unless you find a used one.

You might want to keep an eye out for a used Intel i5 10400F; it often fits within your budget. Also, try to get a second similar RAM stick to enable dual-channel configuration, which helps a lot in performance. If you can find both within $75, that would be a great deal! You'll want to eventually budget for a GPU too, which is where most gaming power comes from.

Absolutely! Dual-channel RAM makes a noticeable difference. Plus, if you're patient, you could also snag a decent used GPU in your area if you add an extra couple of bucks.

Given your budget, finding parts might be tough. A second RAM stick could really boost performance while you save up for a dedicated GPU. If you find that you need extra power later, at least you'll have the setup ready for a better graphics card later down the line.
