I'm in the market for a graphics card that can handle 2K or even 4K gaming, but I'm specifically looking for something that can run smoothly at 30fps. My setup is mainly for couch gaming on my TV, which only supports 30fps. Here are my current specs for reference:

- SFF build
- Ryzen 5 5500
- Asus Prime B5500m with Wi-Fi
- G Skill Ripjaw 32gb 3200MHz kit
- MSI MAG A750GL ATX PSU

I also need a GPU that fits a two-slot space, with a maximum length of about 235mm.

If you're set on 4K at 30fps, you might want to consider cards like the RTX 4070 Super or RX 6800XT. They're capable of handling most games at that resolution and frame rate. Just keep in mind that performance can depend a lot on the game you're playing and the settings you choose!

It's pretty surprising to hear that your TV only works at 30Hz. Have you checked all the settings? Sometimes it can support higher refresh rates like 60Hz and you might just be missing the right config!

Looks like I was running it at 30Hz for years without realizing I could switch to 60Hz, ha! Thanks for the tip!

Honestly, I'd suggest going for a solid 2K 60fps setup instead of 4K at 30fps. You'll get a much better gaming experience that way. Also, check if your TV can actually do 60Hz—it could be worth exploring that option!

For around $200, look for a used 3080 or 4070 if you can find one. Cards like the RTX 3080 or even a used 3090 are great for getting decent performance on a 4K display, running between 30-50fps for most single-player games.

Just a heads-up, if 30fps is your only option, you really don't need to stress about 4K. Also, technically, when people say 2K, they're usually talking about 1440p, so just keep that in mind when you're searching!

Got it! I generally refer to 1440 as 2K, so thanks for clarifying that!
