What’s the best GPU upgrade for a 5600X to minimize bottlenecks?

Hey folks! I recently upgraded my PC around Christmas and now it's rocking a Ryzen 5600X with 32GB of RAM on a B550M Pro-VDH Wi-Fi motherboard. Currently, I'm using an RX580 as my graphics card, but I'm looking to get a new GPU. I want to make sure I pick one that will minimize bottlenecks, especially for games like Farming Simulator 22/25 and Fortnite. Any recommendations?

Are you buying a new or used card? For budget options, the 9060 XT with 16GB is good, or you might find the 6800 XT or non-XT models for cheaper.

Definitely consider the RX 6700XT or 6800XT. If you’re leaning towards NVIDIA, the RTX 3070Ti or RTX 3080Ti are solid options too! They should work great without bottlenecking your system too much.

I’ve been impressed with the 5070 ti as well; it’s also a 16GB card. Great performance for gaming!

I’d go for something like the 9060XT with 16GB. Just steer clear of the 8GB cards if you can. More VRAM will help in games where textures and details matter.

Are you aiming for 1440p gaming? That could influence which GPU you should pick since some cards perform better than others at higher resolutions.

Yeah, I’m looking for at least 1440p performance!

I have a similar setup as you! I went for the RX 6700XT, and it’s been fantastic for 2K gaming. I was able to run RDR2 and Horizon Forbidden West in Ultra settings with around 120 FPS. Just a heads up though, anything more powerful might bottleneck with the 5600X.
