I'm on the hunt for a good graphics card and my budget is around £500. I've been eyeing the RTX 5070, but I've heard that performance isn't everything anymore with all the AI tech coming into play. What do you all think?

The whole AI performance thing is definitely a mixed bag. It's important, but don't get too caught up in it. If you want to run modern games smoothly, you need a solid GPU. Most AAA titles rely on upscalers for better FPS, and frame generation is becoming standard. The 5070 is just a bit less efficient than the 4070 Super, but it's powerful enough if you don’t overestimate that multi-frame performance stuff. Also, steer clear of the xx60 series; they're not the best options for gamers looking for longevity.
Right now, the RTX 5070 is your best bet for around £500. Even if you don't use its AI features, it still offers top-tier raw performance. You won't find anything faster in that price range!
You might also consider a used 7900XT; they can offer great performance too. Just be sure you're comfortable with AMD if you're used to NVIDIA.
I'm not very familiar with AMD anymore and I’d prefer a new card. What would you say is the NVIDIA equivalent?
Awesome! I found one for £450. I think I'm going to go for it!
