What’s the best graphics card for 1080p gaming on a budget?

I've been gaming on my GTX 1660 Super for about three years now, but after playing new titles like Black Myth: Wukong, I feel like it's time for an upgrade. I have a budget of €300, though I could stretch it if needed. I just got a 1080p monitor, and I'm planning on sticking with that resolution for the foreseeable future. I was looking into the RTX 4060, but I've heard mixed opinions about it, so I'm curious about what others would recommend.

From my experience, the 4000 series cards are getting harder to find and generally more expensive. I just upgraded to the 5070 for about $500 (around €434). It might be overkill for 1080p, but it'll definitely support future upgrades!

Honestly, the RTX 5060 8GB could fit your budget pretty well. Just a heads up, I’m ducking in case anyone disagrees!

The RX 9060 XT with 16GB is one option, or if you’re lucky, the RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB could also fit your needs!

You could sell your 1660 Super for around $100—I've seen them going for $90-120 on eBay. Use that cash plus your budget to grab a used 7700XT on eBay; there have been quite a few selling for under $400 recently!

If you can find it, the RX 9060 XT with 16GB is a great option. Just make sure it fits your location and pricing.
