What’s the Best Graphics Card Upgrade for My Setup?

Hey everyone! I've been playing the Battlefield 6 beta and it's become pretty clear that my GPU, the RTX 2060, is starting to lag behind. About 8 months ago, I upgraded my CPU and motherboard due to some CPU bottlenecking issues, and now I'm rocking an AMD 5700X3D (my first non-Intel setup!). I've still got my old 2x8GB 2400MHz RAM sticks, but from what I've read, upgrading to 2x16GB 3200MHz doesn't seem crucial for gaming. Is that true?

Now, onto the GPU dilemma! I'm trying to stick to a budget of around 450 EUR, but I'd like to stay below that if possible. With limited gaming time, I don't think spending more is wise. I've been looking at options like the RX 9060 XT and the 5060 Ti (16GB). I considered the standard 5060, but since it doesn't come with 16GB VRAM, I worry it might not hold up as well in the future. There's also the RTX 5070, which is a bit over budget at around 550 EUR.

A couple more things to consider: I've never used an AMD GPU, only Nvidia. I have a gaming monitor with FreeSync, but it doesn't play well with G-Sync. Maybe an AMD card would mesh better? On the other hand, I hear DLSS performance is great, while AMD's equivalent isn't quite there yet. I care less about Ray Tracing and am gaming mainly at 1440p and 144Hz. Any recommendations?

Upgrading to 3200MHz RAM could help a bit, but since you have the X3D CPU, it’s not as crucial right now. So yeah, I’d focus on the GPU. The 9060 XT 16GB is an awesome choice. Plus, FSR (AMD’s version of DLSS) has really improved recently!

Got it! So, it sounds like skipping the RAM upgrade might be the way to go. I'm curious, though—how do the 9060 XT and the 5060 Ti stack up against each other in performance?
