I'm on the hunt for a new label maker since my old P-touch is finally giving up on me. I found it really handy for general labeling, but the labels tended to peel off on certain surfaces over time. I need a label maker that not only produces standard labels but also ensures that they stick well with extra strong adhesive on tougher surfaces. I've seen some P-touch models that support extra strong tape, but I'm unsure if they're effective. Has anyone tried those, or can you recommend a reliable option that meets these criteria?

I’d recommend the DYMO Rhino Industrial Permanent Polyester tape. The print quality isn't quite as high as some regular tapes, but these things stick around! I used to find labels peeling off equipment after years, but not with these. Plus, I use the DYMO 4200 model since it’s compact enough for my laptop bag, though it’s a bit chunky.
Brady vinyl labels are fantastic! Once they're on, they don't budge at all, and any label I've had to remove left no mess behind. Plus, I've dropped my Brady BMP series from quite a height and it survived without a hitch. They even offer a Bluetooth version that connects with your phone, which is super convenient!
Wow, dropping it from 30 feet sounds intense, but good to know they're sturdy!
Have you checked out Brother P-touch tape with extra strong adhesive? I found it pretty reliable for sticking on various surfaces. Here’s a link if you want to explore more: [Brother P-touch Extra Strong](https://www.brother.com.au/en/supplies/supplies-detail/tze-s251).

That's awesome to hear! I've been curious about the Bluetooth version - how does it work with the app?
