I'm looking for a reliable Linux distribution for everyday tasks. I've heard recommendations for CachyOS, but isn't that based on Arch? I've got the impression that Arch can be tough to deal with. I'm also interested in trying out Hyperland, but tiling window managers have never suited me. Ideally, I want something that's not from the company that's often criticized as 'the Microsoft of Linux' and doesn't come loaded with unnecessary bloat.

You can't go wrong with Linux Mint! It's based on Ubuntu but without some of the common issues. Super user-friendly and great for everyday tasks!
