I last built my PC around six years ago and it had an i7-9900K, a 2080 Ti Super, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. I'm looking to upgrade and want to know what the best possible build is at the moment. Money isn't a huge concern for me, so I want to maximize performance.

Are you looking for the absolute best or something reasonable? For a solid combination, a 5090 with a 9800X3D and 64GB of 6000 CL30 RAM is fantastic. If you want the top of the line, go for the 5090 with the 9950X3D and step up to 48GB of 6000 CL26 RAM.
For top-notch gaming, consider pairing a 9800X3D with an RTX 5090. If you’re into CPU-heavy games as well, you might opt for the 9950X3D. Just so you know, putting together a rig like that is going to set you back around $4,000 to $5,000!
I’d suggest keeping the RAM to 32GB or 48GB with CL30-26 for a better performance balance!
