What’s the Best PSU for a 9950x3d with a 5080 for Reliability?

I'm in the middle of building a new PC and I've got a few components ready to go, including a Phantek NV5 MK2 case, a Phantek AIO cooler, some Phantek fans, and a 990 EVO M.2 (4TB) for my games. Now, I'm on the hunt for a power supply unit (PSU) that can reliably power my setup, which will include a 9950x3d processor and a likely 5080 GPU. My old build had a Corsair RM700 that was very dependable, so I'm looking for something similar or better. Since my PC will be running 24/7, reliability is super important to me. I would also like the PSU to be modular and black to match my build aesthetic. I've come across some scary stories about GPUs catching fire due to bad cables, so I'm hoping for a clear recommendation to avoid those issues. If the cables could be nicely sleeved, or if there are approved sleeved cables available, that would be a bonus. I'm okay with spending extra for quality and looks.

The Corsair RMx series is known for its reliability. I'd definitely recommend looking at the RM1000x if you can—the quality is excellent, and it should easily handle your build. Don't worry too much about the cables; you can always get extensions if aesthetics are a concern.

Is there a difference between the RM1000x and the RM1000e? I've seen the 'x' version listed as the higher tier.
