I'm in the market for a straightforward and affordable printer that doesn't have any wireless features like Bluetooth. I mainly need it for printing documents at home, and it should also have a scanning option. I've had a few bad experiences with HP printers in the past, so I'd like to avoid them for now.

To help narrow down your choice, here are a few questions: Do you need color printing, or just black and white? Also, would you like duplex printing—where it prints on both sides automatically? Lastly, what kind of scanning do you prefer: document feed, flatbed, or are you flexible with either?
If you're looking for a good black and white option, I highly recommend the Brother DCP-L2530DW. It's a combined laser printer and scanner that connects via USB and works great for home use.
Definitely go for a Brother Laser printer. I have the HL-L3270CDW and it’s been fantastic.
I suggest anything laser! In my experience, inkjet printers just don't hold up. For the rare times I need color, I just go to a local print shop.
