I'm planning to clone my boot drive, which is a Western Digital SN850, to a new Western Digital SN850X. I've seen that Western Digital offers Acronis True Image specifically for their drives. Should I stick with that, or is it worth trying Macrium Reflect's free trial instead?

For anyone familiar with Linux, you could just use a live USB and the 'partclone' app. It's pretty straightforward if you're comfortable with the terminal!
If you want something simple, you could also burn an ISO of Clonezilla to a CD or thumb drive. It’s a reliable option for cloning as well!
I have this cool drive toaster device that clones drives without needing a computer. Just pop in the drives and press a button! Super handy if you swap drives often. Might be worth the investment if you do this regularly.
I've been using the ad-free version of Macrium Reflect 7 for a while now, and it works like a charm for cloning and backups. It's great for a quick switch and really helps save space with image backups.
You should definitely get your new drive bootable after cloning it! Just make sure to choose the right options in whatever software you decide to use.
