I'm in the process of building a new PC and I'm trying to figure out what thermal paste to use. I'm planning on using a Noctua NH-U12S cooler with an Intel Core i5 Ultra 245K processor. I'll mainly be gaming with titles like Fortnite and GTA. What thermal paste would you recommend?

I've had Arctic MX6 on my 14900K for over a year and it hasn't let me down. You might only see a degree or two difference between pastes, and MX6 is cheap, easy to apply, and lasts long.

Honestly, just use whatever paste comes with the U12S. It's probably good enough for what you need!

You know, the difference in thermal pastes isn't usually huge. I'm still using Arctic MX4 that I bought years ago for my setup, and it works just fine for my 9700x and GPU repasting. Just grab whatever's on sale, honestly!

I'd suggest going with Arctic MX6. It's affordable and has been great for my 14700K, keeping temps nice and low! Plus, it's well-known for lasting for years.

I've been using Arctic MX6 on my core ultra 7, and it hardly goes above 70 degrees thanks to my liquid freezer III 360 cooler. It's been a solid choice!
