Definitely go for a better GPU. If you can, swapping to a 6700 XT would create a solid balance with your CPU and give you a much better gaming experience.
Before upgrading, you might want to check your power supply to see if it can handle a more powerful GPU. Also, what's your budget for the upgrade?
