I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 5700X with a 3080 Gaming Trio Z, plus I have 32GB of DDR4 RAM at 3000 MHz and a 1080p 144Hz VA monitor. I'm considering upgrading to a 1440p IPS 32" monitor but I'm wondering if I'd be better off upgrading my motherboard and getting a Ryzen 7700X along with DDR5 6000MHz RAM first. I feel like my GPU is still decent enough for now since the performance boost from a new one seems to only be around 10-20%. I also have a 750W PSU, so power isn't an issue.

Upgrading your monitor sounds like the best move right now! I recently switched to a 32" 1440p, and it's amazing. The clarity really adds to both gaming and work.
