I'm looking to upgrade from my RX 6600, which has been reliable but is starting to show its age. My budget is under $1000 CAD. I bought the RX 6600 after my 1080 Ti fried (that was a tough day!), and now I want to play games like Greyzone Warfare at max settings. I'm open to considering older generations too, like the Nvidia 3000 series. Here are my PC specs:
- Motherboard: Asus B450 WiFi Plus
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 (I know I need more!)
- CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
- GPU: RX 6600
I also have a new 850W Gold-rated Corsair PSU ready for the upgrade. Any suggestions?

I wouldn’t switch out my CPU either, the Ryzen 9 5900x is still a beast. Instead, I'm looking at the 4060 Ti, 4070, or even a 3080. Though, cards from that generation can be hard to find at reasonable prices, they could really enhance your gameplay experience.
You might want to consider getting a 5700X3D and adding 32GB of DDR4 RAM, which should be well under $250. For your GPU, look at the 9070XT or a 5070Ti. If you've got a Microcenter or Walmart nearby, you might snag one close to MSRP. If those aren’t options, the 9070 or 5070 are great alternatives. Either way, upgrading your GPU will make a huge difference!
