I'm looking to upgrade my PC setup, which currently includes a Ryzen 7 3700X processor, Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, an X370 motherboard, and a 750W power supply. I've got around 1500 euros to spend. My plan is to get an RTX 5070 Ti for about 950 euros and invest in a Ryzen 5000 processor, but I'm unsure if that's the best route. Building new from scratch with a new motherboard could be on the table, but DDR5 pricing is pretty high. I mainly play Path of Exile 2 and League of Legends on a 1440p 144Hz monitor, and I'm experiencing performance issues, especially with POE2. I want to ensure that my setup can handle future demanding titles. Also, if anyone has experience running a Ryzen 5000 on older X370 motherboards, I'd love to know about any issues you've encountered.

Go for the 5070 Ti and pair it with either a Ryzen 5 5600 or 5800X, depending on what deals you find. The 5600 is a budget-friendly option, while the 5800X gives you a bit more power for gaming. This combo should handle POE really well! I personally have run POE on both the 5070 and 9070XT, and they perform great. If you want to save money, the 9070XT is usually about 400 euros cheaper than the 5070 Ti.
If you're worried about GPU memory, keep an eye on the pricing of other graphics cards like the AMD 5070 and the 9070XT options. While the 5070 Ti is a great card, alternatives might offer better value. Just keep in mind that 12GB vs 16GB of VRAM isn't everything, especially if you're looking at longevity. The 5060 Ti with 16GB is an option too, but I wouldn’t rely on its performance in the next few years as games get more demanding.
Honestly, the RTX 5070 Ti paired witha Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600X is a solid choice. You’d spend about 800-900 euros for that GPU, and the CPU can be found for around 115 euros. If you want to spend a little more, consider a 5800X3D or 5700X3D for even better performance as they range from about 250 to 400 euros. With this setup, you should be good for a while at 1440p without feeling the need to upgrade again anytime soon. I play at 1440p ultra with my RTX 5070 Ti and have no issues whatsoever!

Might very well be the way to go. Thanks!
