Hey everyone! I built my PC back in 2020 and I spent quite a bit on my graphics card, but with the market settling down, I'm considering some upgrades. I mostly use my PC for gaming and have been experiencing frame drops and stuttering in some titles like Silent Hill 2 (2025), Peak, and Schedule 1, which requires me to tweak the settings each time I start a game to maintain performance. I'd love to know which component I should upgrade to combat these issues. Here's my current setup:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 3060 Ti 8 GB
- RAM: 32 GB (16 x 2)
- Storage: 500 GB SSD / 2 TB Hard Drive (looking for more storage options too)
- Power Supply: 650 W
- Motherboard: B 550M WIFI

I really appreciate any advice you can provide! Thanks! 🙂

Upgrading your CPU to something like a Ryzen 5 5800X would be a good move, and then you can pick a GPU that fits your budget. Honestly, how much are you willing to invest in this upgrade? That’ll help narrow down your choices.

You should definitely consider upgrading both your CPU and GPU. A Ryzen 5 5600X would give you a solid boost, and pairing it with something like the RTX 4060 Ti can significantly enhance performance. Just a heads up, storage prices are a bit silly right now due to RAM price hikes, so plan accordingly!
