What’s the Best Way to Fit Dual Monitors in a Limited Space?

I'm working with a desk that's 180cm long, but I can only use 100cm of it due to my PC setup taking up some space. I'm hoping to set up either two 24-inch or 27-inch monitors, but I'm not sure if they'll actually fit without being too cramped. Alternatively, I could go for a single 32-inch monitor, but I'm worried about the size. Any recommendations on how I can best utilize the space I have?

To make this work, one option is to stack the monitors vertically, as having two side by side won’t fit unless you have the right measurements. A 32-inch monitor is going to be nearly 71cm wide, which won’t leave you enough room. Instead, I’d suggest going with a high-quality 27-inch monitor. It gives you good screen real estate without being overwhelming. Plus, you can always adjust the height and angles for better ergonomics!

I can see the benefit of a 27-inch, but if you can squeeze in an extra cm or two, I'd explore the portrait/landscape combo for a 24-inch setup. It could give you more versatility!

I highly recommend checking out Ergotron dual monitor arms. They let you mount your monitors above the desk, saving that critical space while maintaining flexibility. There are cheaper alternatives, but I’ve had a great experience with Ergotron's durability and support.

Consider modifying your desk setup to maximize your space. If you can elevate the desk or position it differently, that could open up some extra room for your monitors. It’s all about utilizing the vertical space you have!

Just be careful with the stability if you go this route. You don't want to risk your monitors falling!
