Hey everyone! I'm looking for a good monitoring solution that can keep an eye on the health of laptops and desktops. Specifically, I want to track things like CPU performance, memory usage, disk space, battery condition, and also get a rundown of the software installed on these devices. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot!

You could also try CapaOne! It’s got features that might align with what you’re looking for regarding monitoring and software inventory.

You might want to check out PDQ! It pretty much covers hardware configurations, installed software, and disk usage out of the box. Just keep in mind, it doesn’t monitor real-time performance like CPU or RAM usage straight away. But you could set up a custom scanner for that. Would also give you automatically filtered groups to help you manage things better, like devices low on disk space or those needing software updates. Let me know if you want more details!

It's really helpful to keep track of CPU, memory, disk space, and battery health. Many teams I know use tools like siit.io to tie asset info, software versions, and device notes together, which really helps in managing software inventory and tracking updates. It’s all about staying organized!

Have you looked into RMM solutions? A lot of them can do what you're asking for! Even options like Action! offer a free tier that can monitor device health and manage software inventory.

Honestly, almost any RMM tool should fit your needs. You could easily find answers with a quick Google search or even using ChatGPT, but if you want community insight, you're in the right place!
