Hey everyone! So I accidentally got super glue on the cover of my laptop (it's not on the screen, thank goodness). English isn't my first language, so please bear with me. Does anyone have tips on how to safely remove it without causing more damage? Thanks!

I watched some videos, and the opinions are all over the place. A lot of people say only to consider removing the glue if you're okay with possibly needing to replace the cover. One solid option is to leave the glue there if you can live with the cosmetic damage. I found a video that might help: https://youtu.be/3OGgARBOt-w?si=i12tuFnALIXFd4ax
A good method is to try using denatured alcohol or 94% rubbing alcohol. Just be sure to apply it carefully and take your time so you don’t accidentally make the damage worse.
If you can’t find a safe way to remove the glue, you might consider just covering it up with a sticker or label. It could be a creative fix and save you from potential damage!
That's actually a cool idea! Might be better than risking more scratches trying to remove it.
Yeah, I agree with using rubbing alcohol. It's effective for breaking down super glue. I'd suggest steering clear of acetone or nail polish remover since they can melt certain plastics. Better play it safe!
