What’s the best way to set up an Ethernet connection across my house?

I'm trying to connect my PC to the internet, but the modem/router is on one side of the house and my PC is on the opposite side. My PC doesn't have Wi-Fi, so I'm looking for a reliable way to set up an Ethernet connection. Any suggestions?

Consider using a powerline adapter! They allow you to use your existing electrical wiring to transmit the internet signal. Just plug one adapter near your router and another near your PC, and you're good to go! You can find decent options at places like Best Buy.

Just run an Ethernet cable directly from your router to your PC. It's the simplest way if you can manage the cable installation. Just make sure to get a long enough cable to reach all the way across your house!

If you think the Wi-Fi signal isn't too bad, you could get a USB Wi-Fi adapter for your PC. They’re pretty affordable and can easily give you a wireless connection without the need for messy cables. Just plug it in and connect!

I might look into that! Do you have any specific recommendations for models?
