Hey everyone! I just finished building my computer and I'm looking to stress test it. What's the best order to stress test my components, and how long should I dedicate to each one?

I suggest starting with CineBench for about 10 to 30 minutes. That will give you a good overview of most components, except for the drives, which I don't think need heavy stress testing.

For the drives, I usually check CrystalDiskInfo. If everything looks good there, I'm satisfied.

Just a heads up, CineBench is kind of light for stress testing—it's not super demanding on all cores.

So, should I be running each test for 10 to 30 minutes for each component? Just want to make sure I get it right!

It really depends on what you want to test and how thorough you want to be. If you're just checking if your system will throttle under heavy load, you can run Prime95 with small FFTs for the CPU and a GPU-heavy game or 3DMark for the GPU for about an hour.

Just grab AIDA64 and run it for a few hours. It's one of the best for putting your components through their paces, even if it's a bit overkill for some.

True, it might be a bit much, but if you really want to stress everything out, AIDA64 is top-notch.
