What’s the Best Way to Upgrade My PC for Higher FPS?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC to improve my gaming performance, specifically to reach 140+ FPS in games like Arc Raiders and Horizon Forbidden West. Here are my current specs: I have a Gigabyte B550 Gaming XV2 motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 6-core CPU, TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan DDR4 16GB RAM, a Crucial P2 1TB SSD, an MB650B power supply, and a 6750 XT 12GB GPU. Can anyone suggest parts or upgrades that would help me achieve that higher frame rate?

Just so you know, the X3D CPUs can be hard to find since they aren't made anymore, and prices on sites like eBay can be quite steep, sometimes hitting around $600!

It sounds like your CPU might be holding you back, especially since Arc Raiders is pretty CPU intensive. I’d recommend upgrading to a better CPU, like the Ryzen 5 5800X3D, which offers some great performance with its 3D v-cache.

Just a heads up, if you go for the X3D CPU, make sure your motherboard’s BIOS is updated. Depending on how old your motherboard is, that might be necessary to get everything working smoothly!
