What’s the best way to upgrade my PC with only $30?

I'm currently using a GT 630 GPU, an i5-3340 CPU, and 8GB of RAM. I'm hoping to upgrade to at least a GTX 1050, but I don't think I can manage that with a $30 budget, even for a used one. I'm considering going for a GTX 750 Ti or GTX 950 instead. I'm also thinking about doubling my RAM from 8GB DDR3 to 16GB DDR3 (used). If anyone has better suggestions for upgrading my PC on such a tight budget, please let me know!

Your plan sounds solid! Just make sure to keep an eye on what's compatible with your system before you buy anything. It's always good to check out other options too. Good luck!

What’s your power supply looking like? If you're limited on PCIe power for the GPU, I’d suggest looking for an RX 470 or 570; you might even find a 4GB version for about $30. It outperforms the 950 and 750 Ti by a mile! Just keep in mind it does need a 6-pin connector.

After grabbing a better GPU, consider upgrading the RAM to 16GB and then save up for an i7-3770. Just a thought: upgrading the CPU might come before the RAM, depending on what you find.

That RX 470 is indeed a great choice! Definitely outclasses those lower GPUs.

Yeah, focusing on the GPU first is the way to go. You don’t want to spend money on upgrades that won't make a big difference!
