What’s the deal with this sticker that came with my CPU?

I got a sticker in the pack with my new CPU, and I'm not sure what it's for. It says 'RYZEN' on it, and it's about half the size of the CPU itself. The instructions don't mention it at all, so I'm a bit confused. What should I do with it?

Just confirming what others said—it's just a sticker! If you have any more questions about PC parts or anything else, feel free to ask. We're here to help!

That sticker is just a case badge that you can stick on your computer case if you want. It’s pretty common for parts like CPUs to come with these badges. A lot of people like to display them for nostalgia since they used to be everywhere on prebuilt machines.

So I can totally just stick it on my case? I wasn't sure if it had to go anywhere specific.

Yeah, just stick it wherever you want. I was worried it had some secret purpose!

Haha, I remember being confused too when I saw one for the first time. Honestly, I thought, 'Why would I advertise for them?' But hey, do what you want with it!

Yeah, it’s just a sticker, no big deal. You can literally put it wherever you like. Lots of folks put them on their cases just for fun. I did the same with mine when I built my rig!

Good to know! Didn’t want to mess anything up!

Haha, I thought I had to hide it or something. Thanks for clarifying!
