I recently came across some V-Color RAM on Newegg—a 2x16 CL30 kit priced at $220. Given the current state of RAM prices, I'm a bit skeptical about whether this is a great deal or if there's some hidden catch I should be aware of. I'd love to hear others' experiences or opinions on this brand!

It's just RAM from Newegg, so it performs like any other DIMM. What's the concern really? It's RAM, it works!
I picked up the V-Color CL36 1.25v RAM last week for $150 and it came with a free SSD! I've got it running stable at 6400 CL30 1.4v. I’d say give it a shot; they use Hynix a-die ICs which are solid. Plus, you can also run it at 6000 CL26 and 1.45v if needed.
It’s likely a price drop that just hasn’t caught up with the market adjustments. I snagged a pretty good deal on some DDR5-6000 CL30 for around $110 last week from a seller who probably just wanted to move stock quickly. Sometimes, you can find great deals when prices are shifting like this.
