I've been doing some research on CPUs and I keep seeing X3D mentioned, especially when comparing the 7000 and 9000 series from AMD. I read that they have something called a 3D cache, but I don't quite understand what that means. Could someone explain why it might be better to choose an X3D chip over just upgrading from a 9600X to a 9700X?
