I'm trying to get a handle on the different models of Thermalright Air Coolers because I see multiple lines and sub-names, and I'm a bit lost. I've come across models like the Assassin X, Peerless Assassin, Assassin Spirit, Burst Assassin, and Royal Knight. There are also some variants like the 90 SE, 120 SE, 120 EVO, and 120 Vision. Can someone break down what sets these apart? Also, how do the Thermalright AIOs compare to their air coolers?

The Assassin X, Spirit, and Burst are all single tower coolers. Between them, the X and Spirit are pretty similar in performance, while the Burst has more heat pipes which generally means better cooling. On the flip side, the Peerless Assassin and Royal Knight are dual tower coolers, which are typically larger and more efficient than single towers. The Royal Knight is designed to fit better with RAM due to its offset and slim side fan.
How does the Phantom Spirit fit into this? I think it's dual tower as well. Also, what's the deal with the EVO, SE, and Vision models? I'm looking at the Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB. Worth it?
