I'm having trouble downloading a PDF that a friend sent me via WPS Office. I usually don't use WPS, so I don't have it installed, and every time I try to open the PDF, it prompts me to install the software or says the file doesn't exist. I've already reinstalled the app twice without success. I can only view it in my browser, but I'd like to have it downloaded for offline access. Any advice?

Just to check, have you confirmed with your friend that they sent the PDF intentionally? Sometimes WhatsApp scams happen. Also, make sure to run the link or file through VirusTotal to ensure it's safe before trying to open it. If possible, why not just use Adobe Reader to open it instead of WPS?
Have you checked if your friend accidentally blocked the download? That might be why you're having trouble downloading it.
Before you open the PDF in WPS, try right-clicking the link on the webpage and select 'Save link as...'. It might be a bit tricky, but that usually gets the file saved straight to your Downloads folder.
It only shows 'save link as' but not the full download option.
What do you mean by that?
