I'm currently playing Warzone on my PS5, and I've noticed that it gets pretty warm when I put my hand near it. I'm beginning to think this heat might be due to insufficient air space around the console. How much space do I actually need to keep it cool?

You should aim for about 1 to 2 feet of space around your PS5. This will help it stay cool and prevent it from overheating. Just remember, whether you have it standing up or lying on its side, it needs room to breathe!
I just read somewhere that 29 inches is a good gap for airflow, but honestly, just make sure it isn't cramped, and you should be fine!
The PS5 can’t be stored in a tight space like a cabinet without some airflow. It needs open air around it to function properly. What I do is keep mine in a cabinet, but I make sure to open the doors while I’m playing. Keeps it neat and out of reach of my cousins!
It really depends on how you're positioning it, right? Standing or lying down can change how much space it needs.
