Hey everyone! I have an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU, and I'm trying to figure out the maximum RAM it can support. According to the specs, it looks like it can handle up to 128GB. However, I have a B650M D3HP motherboard that claims to support up to 256GB on its official site, although the seller mentioned it's 192GB. Is it true that the Ryzen 5 7600 can work with two 64GB sticks (considering the motherboard has a single stick limit of 64GB)? Also, I've heard that a BIOS update might allow it to support up to 192GB of RAM—could someone clarify if that's accurate? By the way, I'm currently running four 16GB RAM sticks at 5200MHz.

That’s a pretty interesting setup you have! Typically, the Ryzen 5 7600 supports up to 128GB of RAM, but with your motherboard’s specs, it seems like you could potentially push that to 256GB. If Gigabyte's site says 256GB, they might have tested it with specific configurations. For the 64GB sticks, just double-check that your motherboard firmware is up to date since compatibility can vary by BIOS version. I have seen users reporting that a BIOS update could unlock higher RAM capacities, but it's always good to confirm on official forums or support. Just make sure you’re not skipping any important updates!

Yeah, definitely keep your motherboard updated! I’ve also read about some Ryzen CPUs supporting more RAM after a BIOS update. I think they improved that in newer firmware releases for the B650 series. Just having 64GB should be plenty for most tasks, but it’s always fun to see how far you can push your setup!
