I'm on the hunt for the cheapest AMD CPU that can handle a 5070ti without any bottlenecking, especially at 4K resolutions. What do you think is the best option?

While 'never' is a strong word, I'd say the Ryzen 9600X is a solid choice. It should work fine for most games at 4K without causing major bottlenecks. Just keep in mind it might struggle with some CPU-heavy titles depending on settings.
True, there are always exceptions, but I get your point!
7500F from AliExpress is definitely worth considering as well!
You might want to check out the 7500F from AliExpress. They usually go for around $130, and you'll find it's only a bit behind the 7600 in performance. Pretty solid deal!
There are some decent prices on Ryzen 7700 over there too.
Is that on the AM4 platform? I haven't heard of that one before.
The 9600X is pretty affordable right now; I snagged one open box for $128 recently. New ones aren’t bad in price either!
Either a 7600 or a 9600X would pair nicely with your setup, but remember, there are always exceptions. You'll be in a good spot at 4K with those.
I'd personally want a bit of extra power just in case. It’s better to have some breathing room to avoid future problems.
Just a heads-up, 'bottlenecking' isn't exactly black and white. It varies by game; a weak CPU can drag down frame rates gradually rather than just instantly causing issues. That said, the Ryzen 5 9600 or 7600 (non-X) should work for about 95% of users, especially for casual gaming.
I tried the 9600X, but I actually ended up bottlenecking my 5070ti at 1440p. I switched back to my 14700k because it just performed way better! 😫😂
Thanks for your input!
